In a trialectic of sound-image-body, UE New Media Design and Catalyst students present a collection of nine unique audiovisual installations, utilizing a wide range of transmedial tools and technologies, including interactive projections, audio-reactive components, abstract visuals, real-time feedback loops, three dimensional sculptures, and live performances.
On Feb. 3rd 2024, DIS(ORIENT) debuted at TRANS_CORPO_REAL.
Beyond the self, TRANS_CORPO_REAL moves through the shifting boundaries of the othered body. Accompanying voice, movement and noise transform the ever-changing container of identity, a performative metamorphosis expanding bodies, in space, in time.

Disorientation aims to confuse the audience inner sense of navigation.
It comprises flashing strobe lights and frenetic animations.
Re-orientation uses grids and geometry to bring you back to the essence of the space.

Grounding is a guided meditation to bring the viewers back to their bodies.
We recorded a "spatial meditation" during which our voices where navigating the room.
